Full Time Instructors
Madison Youth Sailing Foundation is seeking full time instructors for the 2026 season. Our classes run Monday - Friday mornings, afternoons and some evenings.
- Full time instructors are those aged 18+ years old
- 10 week season
- Part time to full time instructor positions available
- Opportunity to receive support for obtaining US Sailing Level 1 or 2 Certifications

Junior Instructors
Madison Youth Sailing Foundation is seeking junior instructors for the 2025 season. Is this the year to take the step from camper to instructor? This position allows participants to make the transition with oversight and instruction from senior coaches. Our classes run Monday - Friday mornings, afternoons and some evenings.
- Junior instructors age from 14-17 years old who are active sailors looking to instructor younger campers as they make the transition to coach.
- Hours and number of weeks worked are determined by the MYSF Board, parent and junior instructor. Morning/afternoon/evening only positions available. This position is flexible to allow for junior instructor to attend other camps or summer opportunities.
- Opportunity to attend Instructor Training Course at Pewaukee Lake Sailing School (14 years +) or US Sailing Level 1 Certification (16 years +)
- 11+ years old can help with Kinder Pram and Beginner Optimist
- 14+ years old can help with Kinder Pram, Beginner Optimist, Green Fleet and Adventure as a paid position.
